Hello, and welcome to the Corporater World Enterprise Performance Management Blog. I’m very pleased to be joining my friends Tor Inge Vasshus and Eric Peterson who will also be contributing regularly on this site. With our blend of perspectives and styles I’m confident you’ll find the information here to be relevant, informative, and hopefully even entertaining.
For the better part of two decades now I’ve been immersed in the world of Performance Management. My first experiences with the topic came as a practitioner with one of the earliest inductees into the Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame (the Canadian utility Nova Scotia Power) and since that time I’ve consulted and written several books on strategy formation and strategy execution using the Scorecard system. I’ve been extremely privileged and honored to have the opportunity to speak and consult with organizations around the globe, and from those diverse experiences I’ve learned how to make Performance Management work within any organization.
My posts will cover a variety of topics, including: practical tips and techniques to enhance your odds of Performance Management success, my thoughts on emerging practices in the fields of strategy formation and execution, resources I believe you’ll find helpful, and other strands of thought that when braided together will assist you in improving results within your organization.
Thanks for letting me share my thoughts with you.
