Custom table

A Custom table is a template that you define and use as the basis for producing charts and Table views. You can customize each cell in the table to suit your specific needs by using Labels, Functions, Status gauges, and Trends.

How to create a Custom table in Configuration Studio

To create a Custom table, go to the Template panel. It is a default panel in the Business Management Platform model and can also be found under Structure in the Windows menu.

Right click in the Template panel and choose Add -> Category, or use an existing category to store the table template. Then right click the Category and choose Add -> Table -> Custom table. Double click the Custom table to configure, or use the Properties panel.

Click the Custom tab to configure the table. By default the table contains three rows and three columns, but you can add or delete rows and columns by right clicking in the table and selecting the appropriate menu item.

Each cell in the table can be configured individually to contain a Label text, a Function, a Status gauge, or Trend arrow. Right click each cell and choose Add and the object you want.

Only Labels can be added to the first row.

Tags should not contain white spaces, especially between $ and {.

E.g.  $ { this.object.id } could be misinterpreted. The correct syntax is ${this.object.id}.

Rich Text formatting will not be included if a Custom table is displayed as a chart on the web.
