Formatting

Formatting is important in order to display data in a descriptive and presentable way.

 

Numbers are always right aligned, including any Postfix. The default number formatting is:

Prefix|number|<Space>Postfix

Examples:

£50.00

15.250 kg

 

This formatting applies everywhere in the system where numbers have formatting applied to them. Note that there is no space between the prefix and the number; there is a space between the number and the postfix.

 

You can format nodes and functions. The following formatting functionality is available:

Values that show Duration must be entered in milliseconds.

 

 

 

 

 

From version 4.4.0.0 onwards, the formatting properties are no longer a string that can be converted into child properties like this: ;;2;percentage;positive. Now Format consists of individual properties.
