Transformer projects may be run via links in My Transformer jobs in My Responsibilities on the web.
Projects that are to be run in this way are created in the same way as other Transformer projects. There are, however, certain things to bear in mind when creating projects to be started via the web:
Any source type may be used in the project. When you use a file as source, the file that is selected in the source object is used as a template that specifies the format of the source data.
If a user tries to upload a source file that does not match the template, a warning will be given.
The Transformer project must contain a BMP data records target. When a BMP data records target is added to a project, some new properties become visible in the Transformer project configuration. You can find more information under Transformer project in the Creating projects section of the documentation.
The users who are to have access to start the project via My Transformer jobs in My Responsibilities must be given access to the project in Access control.
On the web, the name of the job will be the name of the BMP data records target in the project, prefixed with "Transformer run". You may want to consider that
when you name your BMP data records targets.
If the Transformer job contains a Table source that uses the Table resolution = 'Token',
the Context object is the object that was last clicked on in the model tree.
If the job is started by using an Action button, the Context object will be the object where the Action button is located.
If the job is started via a Transformer schedule, there is no natural context, so a Context object must be selected in the Table source.
