Text element

You may add any text you like to a scorecard element by using a Text Element. The space provided for displaying the text will be expanded as you add more text, so you can enter as much text as necessary.

How to add a Text element in Configuration Studio

To add a Text element to a scorecard element, right click the parent element to which it belongs, choose Add -> Miscellaneous -> Text element.

Properties

General

Introduction

Body

In addition to ordinary text, the Introduction and Body may contain token tags, to add dynamic text to the Text element or to create links with dynamic parts like period or organization, e.g. http://www.${this.organisation.name}.com.

You can refer to most properties for the current object and its organization, including Custom properties. Click to the right of the text field to open the editor where you can select context variables to create correct tags.

Tags should not contain white spaces, especially between $ and {.

E.g.  $ { this.object.id } could be misinterpreted. The correct syntax is ${this.object.id}.

Examples:

<a href="http://www.${this.organisation.name}.com"> Click here to go to ${this.organisation.name}.com </a>

The results for ${this.bop.month} for ${this.organisation.name} are as follows:
