Corporater BMP includes multiple settings that control visibility. Each setting applies at a different level.
Visibility applies at object-level. Determines if an object displays on a page on Web.
Visibility rules apply at object property-level for a specific object type. Determine if a property is visible and available for editing using inline editing on Web, on Edit pages on Web, or in Configuration Studio.
Column configuration applies at column-level for table objects. Determines which columns are visible in a table object on Web.
If a property in a table is set to 'Hidden' in a visibility rule and as 'Visible' in Column configuration, Corporater BMP displays that
property as visible for the table.
You can add a visibility rule to an object to control which of its properties are visible for editing. As such, different sets of properties can display for objects of the same type.
For Corporater BMP to display a property, the property must meet specific conditions.
You can configure such conditions as rules or filters.
For example, you can create a condition for the Progress field on strategic initiatives to be available for editing only to users who are set as Responsible.
To create a Visibility rule for an object, right-click it in the Type Management panel and choose Add -> Visibility rule.
