Introduction to Reporter

Reporter is a comprehensive reporting tool that expands the possibilities for analysis, comparison, and presentation of data. It is a template-based reporting system that allows users to design report templates and then apply those templates to create a wide variety of reports. In addition, there is a comprehensive reporting language, the Reporter Tag language, that has been built to make it possible to create good reports quickly and effectively. Reporter can also use third-party sources such as data warehouses or databases.

The reporting tool can report all text, goal achievement, tables, charts, comments, and strategic initiatives in reports. It supports preparation of reports by combining several sources.

Goal achievement can be reported either as values (percentage, figures, etc.) or as status symbols, either for the default period or a specially defined period. All figures, charts, and comments can be reported as you wish. By setting conditions it is possible to create alarm reports that show key figures at the superior or subordinate level as needed.

Reports can be distributed to individuals or groups of employees or they can be made available via a scorecard, perspective, or KPI. They can also be made available in Strategic initiatives or Risk evaluations.

Third-party reports can be integrated by linking reports in the Web, by merging reports in Reporter, or by uploading reports manually.
