NOT (Number of thirds, Number of four-month periods) is used to find the number of four-month periods in a given time period.
NOT(BOP,EOP)
The NOT function can be used to calculate averages for four-month periods. E.g. if node 120 is yearly production figures, write the following to calculate average per four-month periods:
[120]/NOT(BOP,EOP)
In the Function calculator, select a node, click the NO button, and choose NOT. Make changes to the Start and End functions if necessary. Click OK when you are finished.
