Dr. Meera Sarma, with 20+ years in cybersecurity, specializes in cybercrime, hacking, quantum computing, and education. She holds a PhD in hacker innovation and has advised UK Parliament on cybersecurity.

I have always been fascinated by electronic data, privacy and security of assets that are highly valuable and yet virtual. This fascination prompted me to spend years as a cybersecurity researcher profiling hackers, examining facets of cyber-crime and the deep links to physical terrorism and the dark web, and subsequently, led me to complete a PhD on hackers (information systems) at the University of London. During the course of my journey into cybersecurity I have worked with a number of public and private sector agencies in consulting roles.

With 20 years of cumulative experience in consulting as well researching and publishing in the area of cybersecurity, digital transformation, and AI/Quantum Computing, I am able to create a cybersecurity and Quantum Computing company, Cystel, that is underpinned by scientific research and years of experience in the field.

As a CEO, I am constantly researching new innovations and how they may be used to assist individuals and companies to better integrate with the online world in a safe and efficient manner. I have published many papers with a strong focus on cybersecurity, new software development, AI, Quantum threats and hackers within virtual communities.

Dr. Sarah Y. Zheng is a neuropsychologist investigating emerging crime and security risks from technological advances. Through her research, she helps organisations become more resilient to phishing attacks and improve people’s awareness of new cybersecurity threats. Her doctoral work helped uncover why people fall for online scams and how to protect them better with adversarial training and human-centred security features. Before returning to academia, she developed AI and data science applications for financial, retail and government organisations. With her unique understanding of both people and technology, her mission is to defend the human element in technological development.
