Dan has 10+ years of customer-centric sales and delivery experience supporting GRC programs in UK&I Financial Services firms. Dan has supported UK Financial Services clients in delivery of framework and policy enhancements, crisis exercising and briefing sessions in Risk Management, Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management. Dan has also regularly presented on operational resilience and the extended enterprise at in-person events and on webinars.

Dr. Sarah Y. Zheng is a neuropsychologist investigating emerging crime and security risks from technological advances. Through her research, she helps organisations become more resilient to phishing attacks and improve people’s awareness of new cybersecurity threats. Her doctoral work helped uncover why people fall for online scams and how to protect them better with adversarial training and human-centred security features. Before returning to academia, she developed AI and data science applications for financial, retail and government organisations. With her unique understanding of both people and technology, her mission is to defend the human element in technological development.

Launched in October 2016, the NCSC has headquarters in London and brought together expertise from CESG (the information assurance arm of GCHQ), the Centre for Cyber Assessment, CERT-UK, and the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure (which became the National Protective Security Authority, NPSA, in March 2023)

The NCSC provides a single point of contact for SMEs, larger organisations, government agencies, the general public and departments. We also work collaboratively with other law enforcement, defence, the UK’s intelligence and security agencies and international partners.
