Cornelia Marie Dybwad is an advisor at Næringslivets Sikkerhetsråd (NSR), the Norwegian Business and Industry Security Council. NSR facilitates cross-sector collaboration to assess, prevent, and mitigate security threats facing businesses in Norway.
In her role, Dybwad has participated in cybersecurity preparedness exercises such as “Hele Norge Øver” (“All of Norway Exercises”), emphasizing the importance of including administrative employees in security training. She highlights that threat actors often target employees with access to financial resources, making security awareness crucial.
Dybwad is also involved in collaborative initiatives between NSR and the Norwegian National Security Authority (NSM), working to alert small and medium-sized enterprises about potential fraud attempts. This cooperation helps prevent financial scams and strengthen business security.
She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies (MLitt) from the University of St Andrews and a Master’s degree in International Relations and International Security Studies from the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL).
Through her work at NSR, Cornelia Marie Dybwad plays a key role in strengthening security culture within Norwegian businesses and protecting organizations against an increasingly complex threat landscape.
