Welcome and Introduction of Paul Niven and Tor Inge Vasshus

Tor Inge Vasshus – CEO of Corporater
Tor Inge Vasshus will talk about the role of technology and how software can easily help organizations to analyze, plan, and execute their strategy.

SPEAKER : Paul Niven
Paul will be sharing his knowledge on strategy execution in cities in the US, Europe and Middle East. Paul has developed strategy execution solutions for close to two hundred clients around the world. A small sample includes Anheuser-Busch, Panasonic Eco Solutions, CareerBuilder.com, United States Navy, Dun & Bradstreet, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Vision.

SPEAKER: Zachary Ross, Google
In any business or organization, actions determine the future. Google believes that it is critical that employees and managers make conscious, careful and informed choices about how they allocate their time and energy. OKRs are the manifestation of those careful choices, and the means by which we coordinate the actions of individuals to achieve great collective goals. We use OKRs to plan what people are going to produce, track their progress vs plan, and coordinate priorities and milestones between people and teams. We also use OKRs to help people stay focused on the most important goals, and help them avoid being distracted by urgent but less-important goals.

SPEAKER: Gail Stout Perry, Chief Strategy Officer of Corporater
Every organization has a leader, but only few have a visionary leader who has flashes of insight about the future of the organization. And even when leadership has a strategic vision, many struggle to achieve the desired results. Can this be overcome? Learn how to create the right conditions to enable visionary insight and learn how to translate vision and direction into something every employee can understand and actively execute…to achieve desired results.

Lars Carlberg, Partner & Senor Manager of Stratecute Group
In a red ocean strategy organizations puts the competition at the core of the strategy – and not the customer! Blue Ocean Strategy challenges organizations to break out of the red ocean bloody competition by creating uncontested market space that makes the competition irrelevant. Instead of dividing up existing – and often shrinking – demand and benchmarking competitors, the blue ocean strategy is about growing demand and breaking away from the competition. The aim of blue ocean strategy is to make the formulation and execution as systematic and actionable as competing in the red ocean. By using the Blue Ocean Strategy methodology, tools and process organizations try to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.
