Set date

Set date is used to adjust the date and time at runtime using the date calculator.

Creating a Set date process

To create a Set date process, right click in the Transformer design panel, choose Process -> Set date. Connect it to the previous process as described in Processes.

Properties

General

Name - the name "Set date" is generated automatically but it may be changed
Description - an optional text describing the process

Audit

Modified by - the name of the last user to make changes to the object.
Last modified - the date and time when the object was last changed.
Created by - the name of the user who created the object.
Created - the date and time when the object was created.

Custom

Target field - from the drop-down list, choose the field that you want to contain the date, or enter the name of a new field
Adjustment function - used to modify the date at runtime. Enter an Adjustment function in the field, or click the icon to the right to open the Date calculator.

Examples:

If you want to add today's date leave the Adjustment function field empty.

If you want to add a date indicating one week prior to the Transformer run, enter -1W in Adjustment function.

To use the first of the current month enter -BM in Adjustment function.
