TRANSFORMER
RTF (Relative to fixed) date conversion is used to adjust a date with the value of a field and by using the date calculator.
To create an RTF date conversion process, right click in the Transformer design panel, choose Process -> RTF date conversion. Connect it to the previous process as described in Processes.
Name
Name - the name "RTF date conversion" is generated automatically but it may be changed
Description - an optional text describing the process
Audit
Modified by - the name of the last user to make changes to the object.
Last modified - the date and time when the object was last changed.
Created by - the name of the user who created the object.
Created - the date and time when the object was created.
Source field - the field containing the value that is to be used in the adjustment. Only numeric fields are in the list.
Target field - choose the field that you want to contain the date from the drop-down list, or enter the name of a new field
The next three fields make up the basis for calculating the adjustment:
Start date - this is the starting point for the adjustment, e.g. January 1, 2017
Interval - choose from Millisecond, Second, Minute, Hour or Day
Adjustment function - used to modify the resulting date. Enter an Adjustment function in the field, or click the icon to the right to open the Date calculator.
Examples:
The Start date is "January 1, 2017", the Interval is "Day", and the Adjustment function is "+EM".
If Source field contains the value "200" then 200 days will be added to the Start date January 1, 2000. That will give "July 20, 2017". Adjustment function = "+EM" will give "July 31, 2017".
Similarly, if the Source field contains 400 and the Adjustment function is +EM the result will be February 28, 2018.
