TRANSFORMER
If the source data for your Transformer project is formatted and the target of the data import is a rich text property, you can use Rich text conversion for Corporater BMP to retain carriage returns (\r) from the source data as HTML <br> tags.
Even if present in the source data, Corporater BMP doesn't also retain the following text formatting types:
Styles – bold, italic, underline
Colors – character and background color
Lists – bulleted and numbered lists
You can use a Rich text conversion process in conjunction with any type of data source.
To create a Rich text conversion process, perform the following:
In the Transformer design panel, right-click and choose Process.
Select Rich text conversion.
Connect it to the transformer source as described in Processes.
Double-click it to configure it.
Name
Name - the name of the Rich text conversion process.
The default name is "Rich text conversion". You can change this name to a name of your choice at any point.
Description - an optional text that describes the Rich text conversion process.
Configuration
Source column - select the source data columns for which Corporater BMP to retain the carriage returns (\r) after import.
Target column - select the target columns in which Corporater BMP to place equivalent HTML <br> tags for the carriage returns (\r) after import.
Corporater BMP performs rich text conversion only if you specify values for both Source column and Target column.
If the target columns you specify already include data, Corporater BMP creates new columns to include the data in the target element.
