Tab

The predefined Page setups contain a predefined set of tabs. Objects that you assign to a given Page setup will automatically be assigned to the first tab in the set, unless you specifically select a different one.

If an object has NOT been assigned to a specific tab, the first tab of the Page setup will be used as the object's default tab. So if you change the order of the tabs, all sub-objects that are not explicitly set to a tab will be moved to the new first tab.

If a default tab IS set for an object, it doesn't matter if the tabs change order. But if the default tab on an object is deleted, the object and sub-objects will be moved to the first tab.

Each new Page setup contains one tab by default. You can create new Tabs and then move your scorecard objects to different tabs, in order to make your web pages more readable. You can also create new tabs or edit existing ones in the predefined page setups.

To create a new Tab, right click the tab set where you want to place it and choose Add -> Tab.

Double-click a Tab to configure it.

Moving objects on tabs

The order of objects on a tab is determined by their order in the model and the column to which they are assigned (Column based layout).

To rearrange the order of objects in the model, right click the object that you want to move in the model panel and choose Move up or Move down. Repeat until the object is in the desired position.

To move an object to a different column:

Objects can be moved up or down or to different columns on web pages using 'Drag and Drop'. They can be moved to Headers and Footers in the same way.

Moving scorecard objects to different tabs

By default, scorecard objects are placed on the first tab. They can be moved to different tabs in two different ways:

It is not possible to move objects between Page setups Tab sets, only between Tabs in the same Page setup Tab set.

A tab is not visible if there are no objects on it.

The order of the Tabs on the web page depends on their order in the Page setup. Move them up or down to get the correct order.

To use different Tab ordering on different pages you must create different Page setups.
