Mr. Russell served as the chief methodologist in the use of the Kaplan & Norton Balanced Scorecard at Palladium Group (formerly the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative) for over 15 years. He is certified in the use of this methodology and has led the delivery of numerous Certification Boot Camps. In these roles he has worked closely with Drs. Robert Kaplan and David Norton to advance the practice of strategy management through the use of the Balanced Scorecard.
Mr. Russell was the Founder and executive editor of the Balanced Scorecard Report published by Harvard Business Publishing (1999-2012) which featured the latest thinking of Drs. Kaplan and Norton, emerging trends, and best practices from prominent, world recognized experts in strategy execution.
Randy has led numerous research studies in the field of strategy and performance management and has authored many articles, white papers, research reports, and book chapters. As a trusted advisor to organizations from a broad range of industry in both private and public sectors, he has helped business leaders formulate strategy, design strategy management approaches, and achieve organizational transformation and breakthrough performance.
Mr. Russell holds an MA from Brown University, an MSSW and BS from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
